Volunteers in Action is a group of Australian lay-workers and retired pastors who have a heart-felt burder to see the gospel taken into isolated areas in Papua New Guinea and the Pacific Islands.
God Has blessed this work greatly, and over 200 sponsors (from Australia, N.Z. and the U.S.A) are supporting 630 lay missionaries (in 15 Missions) who have been responsible for over 25,000 baptisms. In adition 485 churches have been provided with roofing materials.
As an independent supportive ministry of the Seventh-day Adventist church, Volunteers in Action was founded by Cliff and Val Morgan in 1996. Cliff and Val are also responsible for the day to day coordination of all Volunteers in Action activities.
